Practical Lessons for Lawyers Today from More’s Life and Letters

August 2, 2024 – at Noon

Century City

What “continuing education” would Thomas More recommend for lawyers today?
Attorneys and More scholars Louis Karlin and Jordan Teti will explore this question, as we discuss:

  • More’s commitment to lifelong learning and his pursuit of integrity as a lawyer
  • The California Rules of Professional Conduct – in particular, the duties to practice with integrity and competence
  • Practical suggestions for continuing legal education for today’s lawyers, drawn from More’s life and writings

Hogan Lovells 1999 Ave. of the Stars; Suite 1400 Los Angeles, CA 90067

Lunch will be provided.

We also expect to provide CLE credit (CA), pending approval.

For CLE tracking purposes, please RSVP for live streaming or in person attendance.
